With more than 40 majors to choose from, our curriculum offers you unparalleled opportunity to pick your path and find the right fit for you, whether you’re interested in Natural Sciences and Mathematics or Social Sciences, or Humanities like History and English are more your style. 

Many of our majors also offer opportunities for internships and co-ops both locally and nationally, study abroad and service learning, where you make real-world impact on your community.

Why study Ballet?

CCM is a college within the University of Cincinnati, a major undergraduate university and graduate research institution of more than 40,000 students. The synergy created by housing CCM within a comprehensive public university gives the college its unique character and defines its objective: to educate and inspire the whole artist and scholar for positions on the world's stage. The Ballet program is intended for the dancer seeking top-level training and a rigorous artistic, academic, and studio curriculum. Majors are encouraged to dance with professional companies while pursuing the degree, as well as to study abroad for international performances.

Scholarships are available to qualified students.

Career Possibilities

Graduates of CCM’s Dance program go on to perform and teach in professional dance companies and dance education organizations. This program offers opportunities for seasonal internships and experiences auditioning for professional dance companies. Professional experience, unique somatic studies, and emphasis on ballet sets students apart from those in other programs and leaves them equipped for life after graduation.

CCM’s admission requirements vary by program. Please visit the CCM Admissions website for additional information. All programs require both the appropriate University application followed by a pre-screening submission via CCM's Acceptd website, which must be completed and uploaded by Dec. 1.
